Morada Decor earns triple international recognition at the MUSE Design Awards

In recent months, Morada Decor's design has begun to gain recognition outside of Brazil.

Some of the brand's pieces were evaluated at the MUSE Design Awards, one of the sector's most important international awards, held in New York, one of the world's leading hubs for architecture, culture, and design.

The process is highly selective: projects from different countries are analyzed by an international jury of over 200 experts, considering originality, execution, relationship between form and matter, innovation, and design coherence. Few Brazilian brands reach this level of recognition.

The value of being in New York

Being awarded in New York means competing with projects from all over the world in a global and demanding scenario. It is about stepping out of the local context and placing Brazilian design in an international dialogue, alongside global references that define trends and parameters of contemporary design.

Brazilian design: origin and process

Despite the international projection, recognition begins at the source: each Morada Decor piece is born from a process that combines technique and sensitivity.

  • Brazilian noble wood, the starting point of the design, brings texture, resistance, and identity.

  • CNC machining ensures precision and fidelity to the design.

  • Handcrafted finishing values every detail and reinforces the relationship between object and process.

It is in this balance between technology and craftsmanship that Morada's signature design is built, uniting function, expression, and permanence.

The award-winning pieces

Morada Decor's recognition takes shape in three awards at the MUSE Design Awards:

  • Gold Winner — Hera Chair
Concept of the “eternal bride”: strength, elegance, and permanence. It combines solid wood, technological precision, and handcrafted finishing, uniting visual lightness and structural robustness.

  • Gold Winner — ARC Armchair
Tripod structure, wood, fabric, and metal. Curves that create an optical illusion and highlight constructive precision, transforming architecture into design.

  • Silver Winner — Singular Chair
Sculptural minimalism that explores the essential, balancing solids and voids. More than functional, it asserts presence and identity in the space.

Each piece is a distinct way of translating concept, technique, and expression into design language.

A new space for Brazilian design

Morada Decor's international recognition is not just a one-off achievement. It shows that Brazilian design — historically linked to material, manual craftsmanship, and cultural identity — is beginning to occupy new global spaces, where technique, authorship, and expression dialogue with other references and gain new meanings.

Joining this circuit means increasing visibility, repositioning Brazilian design, and strengthening its presence at an international level.

Beginning of a new journey

Being at the MUSE Design Awards marks the beginning of a new chapter: connecting Brazil and the world, origin and projection, matter and language.

Brazilian design is increasingly being seen, recognized, and integrated into the global scene.

This is only the beginning.
